E39 heated seats

Hey guys, wondering if any of you had the same issues, I pressed my heated seat button today and the light came on for 2 seconds then shut off...it kept doing this and it will not stay on... Has anyone had this issue?

There might be a short in one of the wires for the heated seat.

check the fuse ,
i changed it couple of months ago and never had a prob since
