New camera to ticket drivers for loud exhausts?!
So now you don't need the hassle of those pesky cops pulling you over, they just mail the fine to your house. Why is Canada so awesome?!*rockout*

I see no problem with this .... maybe they'll finally start getting rid of the fart bombs ridden by leather clad fatasses. Such a double standard for bikes right now.
|
Such a stupid idea someone can just setup a speaker and set it off non stop lol
|
On second thought these could be useful in residential areas that are activated between certain hours.
|
Poor c63 owners.

I lived in Edmonton and they had the speed camera's, which turned out all claims were dropped by the courts as there was inconsistant evidence. The City's idea of generating revenue failed. Then again, the Provincial Government approved funding to build a new hockey arena. Well half, as Kates stepped up for the other....

Good, I hate loud exhausts that terrorize people with their loud noise.
|
what a stupid idea.

I love the idea. The first place I'd put one is on Bloomington in Goodwood. Effin Harley guys love that road as a cruise route and all summer long all I hear is the blata blata of their effin exhausts! Plus, I'm not a fan of aftermarket exhausts on cars anyways so thumbs up!

Is it just me or is Canada really trying to be Anti-Car now a days... if you don't drive a Prius you're an annoyance. If this does come into effect, they should be only put in residential streets but we all know the greedy government and cops will put them on main streets as well. |
dam. Its like the Government is adopting the FIM ruling for motocross bikes where the Db levels have to be tuned down for competion.
Curious if there are spark arrestors out there for the car guys. In speaking of motocross bikes, this is the main reason why a lot of people are forced to close tracks due to the low Db levels that a 4-stroke bike makes. interesting. |
wtf is this shit.

i'm buying an air horn. Besides, the way the law is written here in AB, if my car isn't louder than any stock vehicle, (18 wheeler) then it would be hard for me to be charged under the noise ordinance.

Fight the power!

Insurance companies too of course want nice, safe, new cars that never get into any sort of trouble driven by motorists who will never make claims... Get tickets, make claims (or have a JDM VIN) and they cancel you. |
