4.44 diff on my 93 318is!

I need low end power, and I mean I need it bad. All my driving is around city, and lots of it. I never ever take the car on the highway, the most I ever need to drive is maybe 100KM/h.

Anyway, if I put a 4.44 diff on my car, will I have low end power? What else will happen?

Get a Mark D or similar chip/tune and city driving will be more fun

Going up in gearing means more shifting, which is a pain in city

You'll have a car that feels very quick (torque multiplication) but is actually slower than stock due to the manic shifting.

3.91 is a lot more reasonable.
