Control arm bushings?

Hey guy I was just wondering where to find control arm bushings. I'm looking for better one's. I can find stock rubber bushings from just about anywhere but i'm thinking polyurethane or delrin. Prefer local I saw delrin on Turner Motorsports but I street drive this car so they might be a little rough from what I've heard.

The stock shit has been good for me. A refreshed stock one is good and firm.

Pelican Parts.com is great.

How long do they last though?

15 years? Mine were just replaced last year after 24 years? They weren't terrible.

if you have to get rubber ones, get the stock M3 ones as their solid and wont wear as bad... autopartsway usually has good prices (ask marinello bmw too) ... if you want poly ones I'm lookin for a set too so I'll let you know what I come across any

Oh I can live with that. I was not sure how old mine were but if they last that long there is no point I'll just get the stock ones thanks

I thought the M3 one are offset and 325I are centered

they are, but from what I understand the extra caster is good for your high speed handling ... so if your gonna change em might as well get the best .... also e36 m3 ones will fit too

Stick to stock for a street car.

Steve30 09-29-2011 02:50 PM

you can get the powerflex ones from RMP. I have the purple ones on my car and so far so good.

thomas123456 09-29-2011 02:51 PM

sorry for the ignorance, but RMP?

thomas123456 09-29-2011 02:54 PM

never mind I had a moment. How much were your bushings?

Steve30 09-29-2011 02:57 PM

I think I paid around $90

1995 M3 offset bushings, I ordered mine from Mike at Maranello, around $50. Make sure you stress offset, as the first set that came in were centered.
