E46 hit while parked -- major damage :(
 

So someone hit my 330xi while it was parked on the road in front of my house ... Came up from the backyard when I heard the crunch...

She was distracted not looking I guess, got a ticket for careless

Were just getting it towed now, but I'm thinking already sadly that damage may > value... Anyone have another opinion... Or any happy thoughts? :(

well if it is a write-off than hopefully they give you good cash so you can buy a E46 M3

Probably talking on her cell phone.. and went into where Cormier's car was...
from the pix.. whole front end needs to be repaired, radiator and what not.. with OEM parts, might be a write off..

Sorry to say, but that's written off for sure. My wife was just in a fender bender recently (and I mean fender bender) and the total charged to the insurance company was $7200 (b6 a4). Her visible damage was a slightly bent bumper, mangled fender, scratched headlight lens and severely scratched wheel. I hope for your sake you enjoy car shopping.

That sucks large, I'd be pissed if that was my car since its obviously soo clean and well looked after to see that happen to it. Looks like it may be written off and if so, hopefully you get good value for it. I'd for sure swap those rims out if it was going to the yard since they are mint.

Since the person got nailed for careless, they might want to deal outside of insurance, if so, scores on new OEM hardware ;)

I know, I was of the write-off min set too -- the body shop just called and said 5400 -- seemed a little low to me ... But that may go up if accessories are damaged

Theyre going through insurance so the claims adjuster is going to be doing an estimate as well...

I couldn't really be too mad at the lady, ive been on the other side of this and know that's no fun either :p

seemed low to me too, are they quoting OEM parts?
are they salvaging the headlight? I know those are costly

cant be mad but its the inconvenience..
