Interior dash clean/detailing
 

What is the best product out there to clean and detail my dash components? Armor-All dulls out the plastics and dash parts over time and sun/heat. Is there anything out there other than water that is safe to use and will work just as good? :confused:

The best product that I have used on my clients cars that need a little more then just water is Auto Glym Plastic and Rubber Cleaner. Brings dashboards, exterior plastics, etc back to new, and does not give it a armoral shin.

thanks again! I think I used this in the past for my tires.. its the orange label for vinyl and rubber.. are you saying there is another meant just for plastics and dash components?

This is the stuff that about 75% of the S2000 guys use for their interiors/conv tops which are exposed to the elements more then normal.

I have attached a picture of the product I was referring to, its designed for any rubber or plastic but wouldn't use it on your tires since there are other products that will do a better job on them this product.

I use on my client are the 303 product. It works great.

So where can you buy either of these in canada ?

Auto Glym is sold at Canadian Tire. 303 may be sold there as well. 303 for canvas tops also sold at West Marine or The Mason's Chandlery in Port Credit. Both are boating supply stores.

some of the autoglym line is at cdn tire, but that particular product is not. They do have a vinyl and rubber spray. not sure if it is the same stuff.

I bought mine in the state.
