minimizing, maximizing .jpg's

question: do you have to have p shop to minimize and maximize .jpg pixel sizes and then be able to save the size?

if so can someone minimize this pic to 100x100 for avatar use please

Answer:You need photoshop to adjust the image size and save it as jpg. or jpeg.

wrong answer you DO NOT NEED photoshop to resize pictures or save it as a different extension.

there is a million other programs that will do the same job and u can get legaly free of the net.

the best one out there is www.irfanview.com is extra small and can open any type of file there is. it can open even photoshop files even if u dont even have photoshop.

the only thing u can not do with this program or even with photoshop is maximize the picture without it getting all pixelated. u have to have real high quality picture to be able to make it bigger and that it will still look good.
