3'' or 3.5'' piping?

doogee 03-02-2011 03:08 AM

Should also mention these are only "Plug and Play" on OBD1 E36's.

If you're putting it on an OBDII motor, you'll need to plug that hole in the tubing.

air boxes were kept the same, there should be a cover on the airbox if your car did not have the temp peice and that is used

u can't actually believe you gain 5-10 hp... especially with nice metal piping that'll warm that air up REAL good

blk325i 03-02-2011 05:33 PM

probably sounds sick tho, good luck with sale

If you are selling these commercially, you should at least wash the engine bay first, get rid of fingerprints all over the chrome, make sure you don't have wiring showing everywhere. This looks like a highschooler posting his homemade shit on kijiji. Not a stab at you, just trying to help you out.

5 to 10 hp is a modest fair gain with this type of CAI, I'm not making outrageous claims, like some companies.

Wow, if it wasn't -20 I would be washing the motor, I have had people waiting for the kits, I'm not one to glorify my parts for sale and being honest selling parts, If people can't look past a couple finger prints it's there loss

The air moves too quickly to actually heat up though.
