Help With LSD install

I am looking for someone to help me out with a LSD install in my 540i, 2003.

Since I have never done this I would require some help. I believe I have all the tools. What I would like to do is install the LSD into my case or do a direct swap of an E32 750il LSD.

Let me know if anyone has anytime and would like the experience of doing this.

What I can offer is the experience and all the beer you can safely drink.

Basically what I need is someone to help me pull out the old diff without it falling on my face and rebuild the new one.

Thanks

When do you plan on doing this?
If the weather was warmer or you had heated facility to do the job, I would be more than up for the challenge.

Sounds intresting David, but I already have plans to R&R my rear ball joints before going back to work on Wednesday... I already borrowed the ball joint tool from the store.

Are you sure that this LSD is compatible, anyone done it before? It would be a shame to pull it down and then find out the worst.... just saying.

I am curious about this also, but if it does then I may attempt this myself.

Its not a one day job, it needs M5 diff cover, and if I remember right, you need to shorten the driveshaft, as the LSD won't fit into the E39 diff.

There's another way of using the Euro E36 M3 LSD, which can be fitted into the E39 diff but would also need the M5 cover.
