Just go to Wal-Mart, they carry Energizer car batteries. They have one that fits your car. They have a booklet there that lists make/model/year and the Energizer that will fit your car. Part # is E94R and it 765 CCA and it is 94R group size. You can confirm all information in the booklet there. I remember it costing about $140 for the battery and install is very easy.

Batteries sold in walmart and crappy tire usually have 3 year warranty, and they will most likely die after 3 years.

So:

Walmart battery 77-100bucks - life expectancy 3 years

OEM battery 200-250 bucks - life expectancy ..... well beyond 7-8 years.

My car is '03, still has OEM battery which is made in '03, my buddy has a '00 coupe > his original battery just died (so thats 10 years).

I totally recommend OEM battery as opposed to any walmart crap.

Just buy it from whoever sells it the cheapest.

ya walmart batteries die after 3 years.....for shite like that use OEM

I personally like to use OEM as well. I honestly don't think there is much of a difference from OEM to others, but just for my piece of mind i guess, and to have all original parts in my BMW.*th-up*

There is a guy on kijiji that is selling brand new genuine bmw batteries very reasonable. I picked one up from him.

Always go to Canadian tire or BMW to buy the battery because it comes with warranty and batteries usually die out fast.

I heard Interstate batteries are good, found place that sells them at Warden/Steels inside Metrosquare plaza, only one place that sells all kinds of batteries. I think they range from 110-130
