e38 bmw 740i wont start. too cold?
 

it was -30 last night here in Saskatchewan,and car wouldnt start. i got power but engine wont turn or nothing. so i dont think its the battery. i cant plug it in which i dont think it has a block heater. i just got the car yesturday.
Im thinking i should put it in the garage tonight and try it in the morning. but what could be the problem?

You said you just got the car yesterday, were there any known issues before you got the car? Did you drive it home?

i'm having the same issue with my 96 740, but it only took about -5.... battery isnt the issue. either wont start at all or it will turn and then bog out. in warmer weather there isnt a problem with anything.

i have no idea and neither does my garage, anyone have any idea's?
