Today, we are presenting you the PM3 V8 CSL Light, a creation brought to the world by Packeisen. The German tuner is offering us the essence of an M3, ditching all the unnecessary elements of the performance icon. The drastic diet starts in the interior, which has been completely stripped.

The windows were replaced with plastic ones, while the standard seats were dropped in favor of a single racing one that is lighter and offers an enhanced lateral support. The vehicle has also been fitted with an FIA-approved roll-cage that enhances rigidity and increases the level of safety.

The tuner has made use of carbon fiber for the bonnet and boot, while multiple stock components were replaced with new ones made from aluminum and magnesium. The connection with road is now established via a new suspension and a set of BBS lightweight alloy rims.

Other modifications target the brakes, exhaust system and clutch as well as the fuel tank, which has been replaced with a new one that has a capacity of 100 liters in order to increase autonomy. The vehicle’s V8 engine has received an ECU remap that allows it to deliver 485 hp. The powerplant only has to move 1,300 kg/2,866 pounds (including the driver and fluids).

The tuned creation retails for a price of EUR160,000
