Turbo > S/C

Audi > BMW

So what does this video prove?
If you take a 2.7L twin turbo V6 and boost it to 22psi you'll be able to beat a 3.2L straight 6 that's boosted to 6psi.

It even says at the start that the audi is making 50 more rwhp and there's maybe 100kg difference between the two cars in weight... what do you expect is going to happen?

So what happened in this video if turbo > s/c

There are reasons why turbo >s/c
But that video isn't evidence lol.

Isn't it redundant to line up a 460whp car against a 410? Cause I hope this doesn't definitively prove that sc > turbo and mopar >> bmw + audi

^^^ lol sick video..

That said, the BMW is lighter then the Audi. 50whp is 50whp and B5 S4's have an uncanny advantage on power under the curve and very good gearing.

That said, for street cars and mostly in the import scene S/C kits are a waste of money. They take power to make power, they generate a lot of heat and in some applications provide difficult to cool the intake charge depending on the setup.

Just look at that slow ESS S/C'd E9x that was running at Eurofest this year. That thing was running times a stock E9x would be running. That's a prime example. Or compare say a S/C e46 M3 to say an HPF turbo M3. The turbo car is always stronger.

you all lose cause SC+Turbo wins all.....

So imagine two turbos and two SC......

SiR 09-08-2010 04:52 PM

turbo has ALWAYS pwnd sc.

and of course someone brought up top fuel *facepalm*

take two same cars with equal set ups..but one super...one turbo. turbo wins everytime.
