.0771 L/km for me, combined, but i do more highway than city, 3.73 diff on 91 318
averaging 1360km/30days, this is over the last 7600km... about 8 cents per km

I've been keeping track of my fuel economy over the past couple months.
I've been driving my 1990 325i (see sig for mods)
I've been commuting from Guelph to Mississauga so pretty much half my time is spent moving at highway speed, and the other half is spent sitting in traffic on the highway or in Mississauga (aka infinity L/100km). My driving is typically spirited as well, rarely conservative.

Over 9547km I've averaged 9.17L/100km

i get about 200 miles a tank, a little less now (FPR is ****ed, dumping fuel)

between 9 and 10.5L/100 km depending on how I drive. This is over 10 000km with a MarkD chip installed. Before the chip I was getting between 10 and 11.5L/100km (over a period of 8000km)

325i, 3.73 LSD

Normal mixed driving avg about 8 litres/100km, I've seen tanks as good as 7 litres/100km and towing or track duty usually 10.5 l/100 km. I've got an M20 with a Mark D chip which as added about .5 litres/100 km. I do approx 1200km a week since I dd my car as well.

I see about 11l/100km on average with my E30. It's driven pretty spiritedly, always sees WOT and/or at least 6500rpm each time it runs. M20 2.7 w/MarkD chip and a 3.73 diff, undersized tires.

^ I never knew your car was a 2.7, but now that you mention it things make a lot more sense lol
I was wondering what you had done to your 2.5 to make it so strong....2.5 my ass....
I'm assuming it has an 885 head?

Haha, yessir. 2.7, 10.1 compression, M30 afm/stock box/custom funnel, headers, 12lb flywheel, and MarkD chippy which I just recently had put back in for the Sept AutoX.

I so badly want to make a 3+ liter M20, but plans changed... I want a new(er) car. Too bad, all I needed was a cam and pistons, and I would have had all the pieces to the puzzle to put a strong engine together.

build the motor and put it in your 2002.

I got some future plans for a 2.8+ L stroker M20 with ITBs... right now I'm thinking I'll start collecting parts next year and winter 2011 I'll be starting to build it. We'll see.
