Lens update

So i decided even after wet sanding and trying to fix my original lenses, it wasn't cutting it for me and was ruining the front look of the car...

Here are some before and after comparisons..

Smart thinking.

Did the new lens have a bit of a tint? they look pretty dark even though they look clear not on the car sitting on that blanket.

no tint, probably the rest of the car was in the sun and the hood / lights were in a shady area...

I dunno if this is the camera or if the lenses made this much difference, but check out the 2 before pictures (old lens) compared to last one with the new lens..
smudgy and clear

Oh ok.. new lens look sharp as ^%&%^! Very clean and make the angel eyes really stick out and look very nice.

That looks great! Had to do the same on my E46 a while back. No matter how much polishing, sanding you do to the old lenses, they'll never look like new. Worth every penny!*th-up*

phill_e46 08-06-2010 06:58 AM

how much did that run you, if you dont minde me asking

AlpWhitE46 08-06-2010 01:17 PM

About 100$ with shipping.

lvan 08-06-2010 02:29 PM

it's Worth it for sure...

Seyar 08-07-2010 12:39 AM

looks great, where did you order it from?
