Finally Mounted My New Wheels & Tires
Ok so I just got my wheels and tires mounted. I'm running Falken RT 615 K on the Axis Halo 8.5 front with a 225/40/18 with a 45 offset and a 9.5 rear with a 265/35/18 and a 50 offset. Raised the car 1/2 inc for a total of a 2inc drop with -2.5 camber in the rear. Only other mod needed to make this work other then the SPC camber bolts was a relocation of the bumper bolt.

I don't know if I would have gone black, but it look pretty bad ass. What's the weight on these rims?
|
Front is 19.8lbs and the rear is 20.3lbs.
The black matches all my flat black emblems and will match all the carbon accents I have planned for the future. |
Careful with those RT615's in the rain, especially on an S2000 !
Looks good though ! |
Looks great *th-up*
|
Looks wicked. What's next carbin hood and trunk would look sick! A friend of mine went carbin nutz on his s2000 and did the doors, fenders and both bumpers.

With yellow, black is definitely the way to go. Looks sharp with the time attack stripe. |

I'm more concerned right now with performance stuff over carbon I think for this year I'm done might get the spoiler cause I found one really cheap. Next spring the plan is for n/a cams and an AEM and tune and to finish off my exhaust skunk2 header for sure and then we will see what else I can afford...lol |

Lorrie wants a ride in your car, but not sure if she'll be able to for a while, she busted 2 ribs preping for her fire arms training, she undersetimated the kick back on an air charged 12 guage simulator last week, "since when has a simulator actually kicked like a real gun??" |
Ya looks so dirty now...well it was more dirty when the camber was all nuts before the "proper" alignment at www.can-alignment.com
Lets see the pics when it was 1/2-inch lower with -5 degrees in the back and -3 in the front! Steering is definitely more heavy but the car is more planted, less twitchy and has stupid grip now. Just what it needed. Even though the tires are more aggressive, the ride is smoother and quieter..the OE Bridgestones had their day! |
LOL, we had it set at a full 5 degrees? Stanced, bitches.

I definetly recommend checking out both shops and their web sites they are the ONLY places that will touch my cars. |
