shipping a used bumper to US?

Anyone has experience to share? I have no idea where to get a box plus who to ship with. Thanks.

lol I just went through this last month..let me tell you it was HELL... but I'd love to share what I found. First, I recommend you bubble wrap it before you box....Secondly, you can go ask those furniture shops(like Pier 1 Imports for example) to see if they have any unwanted box; they recycle boxes weekly. Lastly, I used UPS..but it was an oversized item, so I had to pay more. Good luck!

I wanted to ship a front spoiler and decided not to canada post was charging me more then what I was selling for (290$ shipping)

That's ridiculous...I shipped 2 oversize item at $250 a piece(even though that's expensive)...but that's bumper/sideskirts + insurance.

The real question is, why would someone in the USA buy a used bumper from you in Canada? Surely he can find one in a wreckers in the USA.

It depends on what kind of bumper they're shipping. For example mine was a one off molded bumper... so surely he can only buy from me if he wants it.
