EGR Delete Advantages?
 

My buddy has a s52 motor swapped in to his car, and i've noticed his egr has been deleted, is there any advantages or disadvantages(except for emission)? I read a guy's theory that by deleting it it may help out with lowering intake air temp.... My cats are gone anyway so this won't be needing emissions.

prevents clogging up of the intake, keeps it cleaner. but emissions not so much so

So you don't figure it would lower intake temps?
