Steve30 01-06-2010 09:22 PM

$1800-$2000 is what I have seen them go for.

QUEEN AJAILA 01-08-2010 09:04 PM

WOULD ANY BE INTRESTED IN getting one

tg07lq 01-11-2010 03:39 AM

why are you getting rid of it ? whats it out of ?

The sixth gear is just for lowering gas millleage on highway. The first five speed are exactly the same ratio and the sixth gear is an overdrive. There is no upgrade in performance.

For 2000$, you need to do A LOT of highway to recover your money...

taxi615 01-11-2010 07:41 AM

for sure but if someone was to change the gearing in the dif this would be good for keeping the gaz milage up.
I would be a buyer but not at 2000$

BmW1819 01-11-2010 09:02 AM

same only time ill buy one if my tranny goes for a swap and no reason just for a 6 gears i wont

taxi615 01-11-2010 09:11 AM

yeah me neither but I am looking into getting a quicker gear ratio so this could be an option to keep good revs and milage for me or others that could be doing the same...

doogee 01-12-2010 07:22 AM

this tied in with a 3.91 is fantastic

Steve30 01-12-2010 02:40 PM

may need to buy one soon.. sounds like my input shaft bearing is starting to go!! would it be cheaper just to rebuild the 5 speed? (fresh syncros and all).

tg07lq 01-12-2010 04:24 PM

id buy it for the novelty to be truly honest. something about pulling it into sixth just feels awesome (driven a couple 6spd pickups, even there its awesome) but like others, not at that price just for the novelty

QUEEN AJAILA 01-15-2010 08:40 PM
