Need Battery for E30
 

Recommendations for local battery? Lee, where did you get your optima?

Optima says the nearest dealer is Renfrew. WTF. Renfrew has a huge demand for Optima batteries but Ottawa doesn't? lol

Costco has Optima batteries and excellent warranty too.

I've been trying to determine if they had them or not, thanks, that's awesome. Going to stop there on the way into work!! :)

No your not because your going to go to total battery instead and get a odessy battery

They also sell optima but they from what they say odessy is the only way to go. Try and talk to the big white guy there. He's been there the longest and really knows what he's talking about.

Costco was a bust, they only have Kirkland now.

Went to Total Battery. The battery listed for an e30 is very small, needs custom work to 'fit it' and a new negative cable longer to reach. Was $236 with 3 year warranty and weights 38lbs. The factory replacement from Total Battery (own brand) fits perfect, 3 year warranty (free replacement) then prorated warranty after that, weighs 42lbs and was only $116.

So I went with the cheaper one.
