doogee 08-09-2009 03:47 PM

Most glass housings use H1 bulbs. Might as well get HIDs. They're cheap now.

moogles 08-10-2009 11:56 AM

so... get HID on my plastic headlights?

No no, NEVER do that.

I'm saying get glass ellipsoids with hid's.

Dysantic 08-10-2009 12:54 PM

What's the matter with HID's and plastic headlights? I've never really heard why it isn't good?

It spreads the light all over place and is incredibly blinding. I can't stand it when people do it.

moogles 08-10-2009 05:22 PM

damn these expensive glass headlights...

can i just get this and put the stock stuff in it?

Aren't DJ auto headlights from DDM glass? I've been thinking about getting a set of DJ autos with some angel eyes from DDM rather than the Depo's just because I've never thought of the plastic ones to hold up too well in the long run.

Dr. Flyview 08-10-2009 09:08 PM

lol the depos are glass too...

moogles, stop looking on ebay. Get either apexcone or DEPO glass/ellipsoid/projector/whatever you wanna call it headlights. They will use a different type of bulb than your stock shitboxes.

Dysantic 08-10-2009 10:57 PM

Hmmm. At the second look, it appears youre right Flav... I have no idea where or what gave me the idea that they were plastic. lol

moogles 08-11-2009 02:47 AM

i wasnt planning on getting it off ebay... i only wanted to show you the glass housing and if it'll work...

You have to buy the entire light. The lens wont work.
