Honestly, I think the only fix for a crack like that is a new windshield.

Yes i agree with R Jay. I'Ve seen a guy fix crack windshild but TINY size. But if your interested to know if that person can fix that big crack then i can find out for you or you can go to his small shop..hes at weston Road/401 In front of Canadian Tire.

Wow... that's totally not cool, it sometimes starts as a chip and next thing you know it grows! That's why you have to catch it while its a chip and use Bullseye from Canadian Tire to fill in the chip. But because yours is already cracked to this extent just get a new windsheild.

How did that crack initiate? If you notice any rock chips in your windshield, this is the opportune time to get it filled and repaired because cracks can start and spread before you even know it. A crack like this can not be repaired. Your insurance company might cover a windshield replacement without charging you the deductible so it's a good idea to check with them first.

This happened past weekend while coming back from Markham north. It happened at night while driving back and i heard a rock hit my windshield, but didn't expect this Monday morning :(

Sprint Autoglass, Victoria Park just north of Lawrence on the West side. They use Pilkington windshields, so it's a brand name, and I've never paid more than $190 + taxes for a windshield installed there. Most insurance companies have $300 deductibles, so it's wiser if that's the case not to even tell the insurance company, save some money and save a claim on your insurance until you really need it.

I was told i need to replace the windshield :( , i will give "Sprint Autoglass" a call dble Trouble.
