Thats great. How much you want to spend? How much work/time you willing to put into it?

looking for under 5000. Im busy during the fall/winter with school, but i want to work on it for this and next summer

$5000 should get you something that isn't a 'project car,' unless you have big plans for it. If you're looking to pick something up that is a little rough around the edges and get it looking good again then you can easily find something for under $2500. Check craigslist, I often see decent looking cars for sale in and around the price I said. Good luck!

I have a 1986 325, two door, standard, relatively fresh black paint, black leather interior. The car looks very good but need a minor amount of fussing to be made to look very, very good. $2500, that's less than the value of the paint work.

I recently purchased a 92 cabrio so there is no need for the 86
