Someone Please Help!

I have to write an 6 pragraph essay due thurdsay for law class. it has to deal with the Aboriginal Nation(metis), and how the values and beliefs upon which their laws were based on, are DIFFERENT from the ones our(canadian) law is based on. LZ HELP CUZ IM CLUELESS!!!!!!

metis are the people that were half european half native right?

i would say either one, and it doesnt necessarily have to be metis. it could be Haida, Salish, Cree, Blackfoot....
