I've been in the auto biz a very long time. Bmw paint job properly done will cost you 3-5k...and any buddy of yours who does paint and gives you a deal will prob charge you half that... To properly paint a bmw you need to REMOVE things like glass, trim, and if you decide to go the length. panels. This is how I know a bmw should be painted. Anything else is a shame and ruins the worth of the car...it's called a butch job. I've seen my share of "economy friendly" better use Macco......I've had people tell me they paid 3 grand for a paint job I ended up polishing out orange peel. Wet sanded and polished enough "sweet deal" jobs to know...speaking from experience of course.

Thanks for your input, but the car is no longer forsale anyways.
