what pads should I use
So after alot of searching I have decided to dive into the power detailing by purchasing a PC 7424 (most likely from eshine)
Now because my car is a titanium silver and hides the very light amt of swirl marks on it, I was going to use the klasse AIO as my polish( I know it doesnt have strong polish properties, but like I said I have minor swirl marks)I will apply it with the PC (since some forums have said with machine and right pad it will fix minor swirl marks) and will top wit Klasse SG like I normally do by hand (two coats) So has anyone had experience with using AIO with a maching and if yes which pad did you find made the best result. plus is there a good light polish i can use before the AIO . And I normally top the sg with p21s but was thinking of just toping it weekly or biweekly with SG diluted to make a QD(not sure on the ratio of water but have read 4 to 1 or 5 to 1) but if i do go back to the p21s should i buff it off with the pc and a mf bonnet, will this give me more shine/gloss Thanks in advance for any suggestions |
Klasse AIO doesnt do much for swirls. If you just have light swirls, I'd go with ssr1 or 2, menzerna final polish, megs 83, etc. something with light abrasives.
you might be able to get away with doing a couple passes on just a white pad, but if that doesnt work then try orange then white i think 5:1 is the correct dilution for SG to make a QD www.autopia.org search here to get more (and better) answers for your detailing questions |
^^ what he said. Klass only has a masking agent, you don't need any kind of special pad for them. With abrasive polishes, you always want to start with the lightest pad and work your way up.
