How to make your e30 ass happy
 

Yesterday i decided to start taking some weight off my car.. and i started in the rear. i ended up taking almost 150 pounds off and now the car slides like nobodies buisness.

things i took out.
Spare tire
jack
soundproofing...that was 45pounds!
seats
all the plastic covers in the trunk

any other suggestions on reducing the weight but still looking normal and not totally gutted. Im planning to take out the a/c unit tomorrow, ttrying to think of more! :)

...and if u ask y am i taking all this weight off, wats the point?.....lets just say ggas milage!*th-up*:P

go to a gym.

remove ac and power steering
replace windows with lexan

i can do without ac, but no powersteering is a bitch.

could i buy premolded lexon? id only put in in the rear windows.

lexan windows are available for e30 so just do a search but they are expensive !
you can do the cheap version of lexan - laminated plexiglass - not legal !

Front and rear Re-bar weigh a ton dont they.

remove the rubber on the firewall and on the bottom around the tranny tunnel.
remove the interior carpet with insulation and replace it with commercial grade carpet (thin).

right foot.
