318 Gas mileage.
 

Hey guys, im about to put my 318Is on the road and im wondering How many Km's on average I should be expecting from a tank on regular city driving.

Hopefully it's way better than the Eagle talon I just parted out...
I only put in $20 at a time because I had 2, 255walbros in the tank which eliminated the leveler.. But anyways I was getting about 100k for 16L.

How big is the tank on these things anyways?

I get pretty good km on my 318,but never ckeck to see how much.

if its a 91, should be 63L. just fill it till the pump shuts off, that will tell you.

16L/100km is terrible mileage. i use maybe 11L/100km with my AWD 325iX (2.5l i6)
just dont floor it all the time, keep the revs low. that will improve things.

well, 100k/16L was in the talon... 24 psi on an Evo3 16g..2 walbro pumps with 75lb injectors.

I definatly had a heavy foot, Launched it all the time at 6k building 20psi off the line,
Damn I miss it already. aslong as this 318 is good on gas and more reliable than the talon i'll be happy.

oh cool - one of my friends had a talon, he made a boost regulator out of a fish tank valve. it worked! i think that engine blew up though. which proves your point about reliability.

the 318is had the smaller 55L tank. With my old 318is i got 9-10L/100km in the city and between 7-8 on the highway. The most i got was 480ish to a tank though
