What's the best mileage on a 325/328 you can get?
 

I was wondering what the best anyone's done. I just rolled over 350km for 30L, so around 8.57L/100km.

94 325i 5spd probably 75% highway.

Weird thing is, I used to get right around 10L/100km right before I switched my ECU ...with the same one. Sold the one that was in the car and put the stock one back (yet with the same chip from the sold one). Makes no sense... Meh probably just been driving more calmly :P

i think best i got in my 328, with a full tank of shell 91, was 462 from a full tank to a complete empty!
just wondering but is that good or bad?

also not to high jack, but if you have a s52 please also post your fuel economy as im very interested:P

That's not very good! I hope you were driving it hard or else look into changing your spark plugs, air and fuel filter, oxygen sensors... With the tank around 64L, your mileage was 13.85L/100km

Unless you meant 462 miles...in which case it comes to 8.66L/100km

nope, 462kms! ya i thought it was pretty bad, i think it might be my fuel filter and actually no, that was mostly all taken it easy on the highway!!! sparkplugs are new, aswell as the o2 sensors.

btw flavcool thanks for letting me know my L/100kms, lol i wasnt sure if my car was putting down the milage it should on a tank or not, no point looking into it now as next week, the s52 goes in, at that time im also planning on changing the fuel filter then continue to watch my fuel consumption, ill keep you guys posted!

No problem. To get your mileage in L/100km you do the # litres used / km driven * 100.

I did 650km on a full tank of gas in my 328is. Damn Jay! 462 is like what a viper should get on a full tank lol.

I get around 550-600 KM easily. That's with a mixture of spirited and normal driving, about 50/50 HWY and city.

Anyway, i can hit 650km pretty easily in my 328, over 700 isn't hard if I try.

Im only getting about 550km from full to empty on my 328i.

my 99 328is gets about 9.37/100km

so 600 ish to a 64L tank..

im trying to do 110km/hr on the highway to see if I can get a few more kms on a tank..

600 if its all highway and a lil over 400 in rush hour traffic :( lately its been too much rush hour traffic

I actually bumped into a thread like this a few months back and realized just how horribly I've been driving. I used to get 450-480kms out of my 55L tank *shiner*

Since I changed my habits and a few other thing on the car I've been able to get 570-600km out of my tank.

How do you guys hit 700?:confused:

Your tank is 64L... You might not have been driving it close to empty?
