Farecla G10 Polish & Worlds Best wax ~

I detailed my crx myself in 2007..
I used Farecla G10 extra fine grade liquid polish and Worlds Best Wax bought from Autobahn detailing.
The paint was already in decent shape when I bought the car, but it did need to be cleaned and waxed..
came out great original paint btw.

OT Robb, how do you like the RE01Rs over the RT615s?

I havent driven much yet with the RE01R but so far I find the RE01R's a lil more sticky/softer... maybe cuz they are new ?
Both are awesome tires, but the RE01R's have better tire longevity.

this is probably a newb. question but I am guessing that's why I am on this board. To learn.. but will waxing a new car cause it to deteriate the paint? Or is it completely safe? I want that same shine when I first picked up the ar.

Polishing deteriorates the paint, waxing protects the paint.

we use g3 and g6 at our shop as well for the compound applications, However, it will most likely to leave haze mark, so followup polishing is needed(like g10).

i am a former detailer and i really dont like g3. It's way to abrasive and should not be used by someone who doesent kno what they are doing. you can basically take off the clearcoat if you buff with it.

I stated that it was for compound applications. most of times,we use g6 but not so much of g3. And yes its used by 'someone who knows what they are doing".

I heard the same thing. I've used all kinds of waxes from cheap to expensive. I've found 3M wax on light colored cars works well to cover up swirl marks but my favorite is Rejex. The shine is comparable to Zaino with MUCH less effort. I use it on the paint, the glass, the plastic and the wheels.

I used G6 on my E34, astounding results. Thinking about using the G10 on my M5, I have some swirls.
