Speaker upgrades

A family member just bought an 03 civic, has 5.25 components up front and 6x9's in the rear. Both sound like shit as they've been pushed much too far and need to be replaced. I work partime at a bmw used parts store so I have access to all the e36 and some e46 speaker upgrade sets but I've never heard them. How comparible to aftermarket units from infinity and similar brands in the $100-$200 catagory are the bmw HK units. Note, aftermarket speakers will NOT be amped at first or possibly ever so that factor needs to be considered.

go a/m. I've used Alpine speakers in this scenario and was satisfied. They're inexpensive and efficient enough to get decent volume out of just a deck.

.............easily done. There's lots options in that price range. I may have a set or two kicking around at home of new components that could work for you. PM me if you want to discuss it further.
