1er owners - what are the cons?
 

There really aren't any CONS. When i drove/sat in the car, it felt exactly like my E36 coupe in terms of the way it handled, and interior space, but BETTER!

Space and cost would be mine concerns. For such a small little car, I would expect a smaller price tag than it is. But I like the concept of the 135i.

Anyone know if a 123i or 125i is coming to Canada anytime soon?

It's EXPENSIVE! I have one coming end of May, 135i coupe fully spec'd out except M package at just under $50k... :eek: 1addicts.com

Could have bought an e39 AND e34 M5 for that money... alas, the wife... and I get to drive it :|

Car fits me... but every storage compartment is too small. I don't think they thought about what you would put in it... just made everything smaller than a 3 series.

Found the con. It's twitchy at high speeds. The 135i coupe is fast, but I feel much more relaxed in the 540 at same erm... 'speeds'.

Ok let's not mislead you :) I am comparing the highspeed ride say... Hypothetically 160kph... Of a fully loaded 135 coupe (sans M package) vs e39 540 lowered with 265-19s. The 135 doesn't feel as planted in the lane. Bear in mind though, this isn't stopping me from ordering a 135 cab next week!

For my wife, her old car was a Ford Focus ZX3. This car is now a dream to her with comfort access and all, lol.

Well, it's the 407 so I'd say conditions were good :)
