how do you guys inspect if a tire a wheel actually fits when you put it on? is there some way to use a jack on one side and get the other side to dive fully into the springs? or is driving it hard and listening really the only ultimate way to find out?

first when you put it on, first make sure the brakes will clear, then check if the tires rubs the shock or anything(fully on the ground then do it), then turn the wheels full left and right and see if it rubs, if not, you're good to go! that's how I would do it.

ty sir, i figure i will work with some floor jack too to have it dip into the supension. I doubt i will have any issues with the 18 inches clearing my stock brakes though :-)
