i have to agree with one of the posts... its ruined and looks broken.

I'm normally into Burroughs stuff but the direction he's taking this 3.0 CS is not one I'd go myself. Not personally into bags.

I can appreciate the time and effort he's put into it but that E9 was truly spectacular before he touched it.

That car looks like shit now. E9s and low don't really go well together. Those poor halfshafts lol.

Saw the car in person this past weekend in OCMD, it looks amazing IMO...

But the car is in rough shape... I'm not a fan of bagged cars, but it just has some sort of ora around it.

Pretty cool.

Problem is, if his past car is anything to go on I'm worried about the future of this E9 in the hands of a hipster.

Yup. Too low IMO and not a huge fan of the wheels

BMW BMXer 09-28-2011 11:55 AM

The RS wheels looked better IMO

Not my cup o' tea, but then again, I always disliked his style.

That's what caught me off guard in OC too. I had no idea it had rust and other cosmetic issues. IMO, with that chassis it's either go ironic with the junkiness (i.e. Rusty) or restore it fully.

Still a breathtaking car in person. 10 footer status.

i just love the shape of the car, amaaaazing. bmw made some pretty looking cars .

desmo 09-28-2011 05:27 PM

I think its better on Coils only. Or just plain stock.

Rusty was a whole other story though, and I think an amazing part of hot rod history.

Just from what I've seen in his threads over the past few years, that kid must own like 10-15K worth of wheels alone.
