Looking for 2002tii front brakes

I'm upgrading to tii struts so a set of tii front brakes are needed. Anyone have something available? *th-up*

There are a lot of nice big brake options for tii struts. I am running an E12 5 Series setup which has plenty of braking power. Ireland and Aardvarc Racing both have really good options. I am thinking of changing mine but they won't be off anytime too soon. Good luck with the new suspension setup

Hey Kris, thanks for the reply. Do you have any pics of your E12 setup? I'm interested to know if the caliper extends beyond the hub mounting surface. My new wheels won't work with calipers that protrude beyond the hub plane.

I'll check for you about the fitment. I have some info I can send you on the E12 conversion.

That would be great, thank you!

Hmm. Well, if the big brake kits would work, I'd be inclined to order from Aardvarc. Pics look very promising.

Can I take a look at your E12 calipers sometime to confirm that there's clearance?

The Aardvarc kit is good. Should be a pretty easy bolt up. I have his rear kit which required a bit of machining but that shouldn't be an issue up front.

I will pop a wheel off and take a pic tomorrow night.

LOL, this began as a grudge purchase. Now I'm actually psyched about doing the brakes. Good job, Kris :P

Here's what they look like...the calipers are in line with the 5mm spacer I'm running.

Right, I ordered Aardvarc's "Option B" tii kit and a tii MC. Fingers crossed.

Cool, Dave is a good guy. Does it come with the steel lines from the MC to the calipers? Tii's are dual circuit on the front brakes.

Do I need the steel lines? He offered a set of Stoptech braided lines that sounded good.

I would take the braided lines (which go from the strut to the caliper. But you need to look into the hard line length (from the MC to the strut). Take a look here:

Ask Dave if you need to replace the hard lines

Is the tii MC the same as an E12?
If so, Smitty can have mine. You'll need to refinish it as it doesn't look so pretty...

My front and rear calipers may become available within the next month of so as well.
