Welcome back to another season of BMW fun. As we do every Spring, it's time to get outside and enjoy the good weather in our cars. I have a new route in the works and am excited to debut it for all of you.

Date: Sunday May 1st
Time: 9:00am meet / 10:00am departure
Meeting Place: Kennedy Commons Plaza, 33 William Kitchen Rd, Toronto (Kennedy Rd/401)
Parking Area: Empty lot next to Metro grocery

Have a full tank of gas, bring water and some tools, and get ready for a fun day of scenic road exploring. The round trip back to the 401/404 area is 500km long and your ETA is 7:00pm. Wear comfortable clothing appropriate for the weather and be prepared for a full day of fun.

Aggressive driving, passing on non-freeways, and in general any negative driving behaviour will not be tolerated. You will be sent home if I get complaints. And we all love our cars, so trust me, the complaints will roll in if you're being a jerk. Be courteous out there!

Going to have to pull some strings to make it for this date as it was supposed to be the weekend I move out, go back home and take the M out of storage, but I think I have a way of working around it.

Well, I was super excited until I saw the date.

Not sure why a cruise would be the day most people take their summer rides out of storage.

Lol there are exotics and bikes out on the road now. If you're going to wait until the fifth month to start driving your car, you only have yourself to blame for missing out on events.

FYI, this is same day/time as the cars and coffee meet.

I agree, would have been nice to have this a little bit later.

I drive my BMW year round and couldn't care less about it. It's a cheap e36 I thrash on. I probably can't make it on that date for other reasons.

I'm just saying, I don't know a single person who's taken their summer car out yet (especially up north where I'm from). I just thought it's a little early.

Also I can see how my "have fun" could've seemed passive aggressive. It was a legit "have fun", though. I'm sure it'll be a great time :)

I was disappointed about the date too, but in all fairness there was another active thread where people where posting when would be good and early may was mentioned a number of times so power to the people who put their 2 cents in before the date was decided

True, although by "early May" I was more hoping for the 8th or the 15th... but I'll make this work. *th-up*

To be honest, as the last Fall Cruise proved, a smaller crowd isn't a bad thing.

I gotta throw my ass in gear, take care of a few odds and ends, but I *should* be down. Most Sundays work for me anyway and Jay's events never disappoint. ( I am actually sitting here hoping for a smaller crowd).

And totally agree with Damon and Terry... the crowd we had for the Fall Cruise was awesome. *rockout* Can't wait to see everyone!
