Style 5s on e36 sedan

I just bought styles 5s with tires.

Rim size is 17x8
tires size is 235/45/17

will these fit?

Depends on your drop probably.

Damn, too many people are getting these. Gonna have to sell mine soon haha.

Nguyen_E30 03-16-2010 11:14 PM

i'll take them. lol.

LOL why would you buy wheels. Than, figure out if they fit or not? Common sense you lack

Bimmer Heaven 03-17-2010 12:43 AM

The rims will fit, but tires sound a bit too wide/tall....but it all comes down to your drop, like posted before...

215/40 tires, rolled rear fenders, hubcentric rings.

Im actually gonna do a tire stretch with 205/40/17. My wheels shop said I should go 205/45/17 because with a stretch they will go down to 40..

Would that be ok?

Mystikal 03-23-2010 03:36 PM

The diameter won't actually change by much if any, but their advice is still good. 205/40 is WAY too small for an E36, it will not only look strange but have a massive gap all around the tires and have a poor load rating (sidewall bubbles, etc). 205/45 is a better choice.

iam going 215/45/17
