Thanks Charlie for everything and finishing the job on time with all the other conversions going on at the shop. Thanks Herb, Mr. Mtech and Static for the help and advice through out the swap. *th-up* *wave*

Thanks cleanE30 for the inspiration, after seeing his car at the shop I knew what I wanted to do.

How did you keep the M Power cover? I understand it needs to be replaced when doing the OBD1 conversion, did you use an S50 as a donor motor?

Damn That Thing Must Be A Beast, Congratulations.

I Hope Youre Bringing It To The E30 Meet On Oct. 1st?

No you dont need to change it, I think you are confused with the fuel rail cover when putting the M50 manifold. Correct me if im wrong, but I know you dont *have* to change the valve cover.

Mint E30 Sam, its one of the cleanest E30s around..the new engine just makes it even more sweeter, now you just need to black out the grill and window trim and get some 6000K HIDs
*th-up* hahaha

How do you like the shifter? You have some nice tranny mounts in there to go long with the short shifter, its custom from Bimmersport. :)

nice setup you have there,looks like the shop really knows what they are doing.
Very clean and almost looks like it came from factory with that setup.

keep up the good stuff

static 09-23-2006 06:41 PM

nice to see more converted e30's. Did you finish the exhaust? or still have to do that?

ZiMMie 09-23-2006 08:59 PM

Valve cover has nothing to do with OBDI swap.
Like Jon said, you need OBDI fuel rail and OBDI intake manifold.

Sam, bring it tomorrow to BMW AutoX

qimis 09-24-2006 01:07 AM
