Where to Buy Winter Tires & Rims for an M3 in Toronto?

At BMW the other day to vget their recommendation on a winter package for my 2004 M3. They're quoting $3400 for Michelin Pilot Alpins "V" rating, P225/45R17, along with their E68 alloy rim set.

Found the rubber at Green & Ross for about $315 a piece.

Anyone else gone through this that could share their experience on where and what to get as far as rubber and rims?

I picked up some winter tires from Tire Depot at Younge and Doncaster in Thornhill. They also did my summer tires and I was pretty happy with them. Check 'em out man.

i got mine at the dealership (budds) at the end of last year and paid 2000 instead of 2500 for style 71 or 73 i believe, the ones that came on like a 2001 or something 330i with 20 spokes, and the snowsport tires, 205/50/17

and style e68 are the 330ci ones grossi has in his signature.....pretty sexy for winter imo

don't drive your M3 in the winter.... store it :) unless you have no other option.

Do you live by Rockwood Mall?

Also, is there a house with a Mazda 3 a few houses over from you?

hey, check out tunerworks blowout thread in classifieds. they have a set of e46M3 type 68 with pirelli snowsport winter rubber for 1800 bucks i think. these have the proper rear offset for e46M3. thats about half of the stealership price. i have those tires for my e36, good v-rated winter rubber. drive that sucker all winter, winter beaters suk.

I have the tire and wheel combo that you are speaking about, I got it from the dealer for $3200. I was selling it, but I sold it alreayd for only $1200. Check out Tireworks or Cross Auto, they can put a package for you. Remember, the rears are a little trick because of the offset on the M3.

Tires..

Call this place in Kitchener they will beat anyone's prices on rubber:
519-742-1144. It's called Ontario Auto Market, and it's probably worth the 1 hour drive to get here. Michelin Winter Sports are the best winter tires ever, I've driven my M3's in the winters and love them.

Damn, for $3200 you could buy a Civic and still have money left over for beer.

Try Rob and Tunerworks. Dont buy from the dealer, I did it and regret it. If you buy normal M68, you will need a spacer for the rear. Tireworks in Mississauga is good too. I just bought a set of 18" OZ supperleggera with Dunlop M3, and they are selling out fast, real fast, the tires are sold for the season, so whatever you are going to do, do it fast.
