wow, thanks for all the replies guys. Hopefully i ca use it all to my advantage, but we might have to wait for spring to come around for any big changes to begin. As for pics, i'll try to take some when the snow goes away. The seller was just a friend who fixes bimmers up. the interior (dash) is different on this car, which is what i thought identified it as the eurospec edition. The dash has more options on the right hand button panel, even has a speed limit (where it dings when youve reached a certain speed), a timer, fuel consumption meter, etc. Also, it has heated seats, and power sunroof (2 things which the american version did not offer). I'll try to take some pics this week, i'll post them here when i do. for now, here are the pics that the seller gave me when he was working on it.

Any E30 Ive had or been in generally has these things, not trying to knock you or anything, just letting you know incase your trying to learn about the
E30 scene. The dash' all look like that, heated sets yes also, and power sunroof is an "IS" setup, altho "I" comes with a sunroof, its just a crank.

Cheers Man

the only reason i thought this was that msn auto said that heated seats and power sunroof were not even optional in any of the 89 325 models.

they just told you that to make the sale

Derek89E30 12-11-2005 10:30 PM

Its not a euro - I can see the outline of sidemarkers on the first picture.
(flamesuit)Regardless - its no big deal if its euro or not.(/flamesuit)

Early models: Chrome bumpers (low profile), side repeaters, slightly different motor (higher compression, no cats)

Late models: Different bumper trim (no side markers), side repeaters, slighly different motor.

i was just wondering because almost all the e30s i have seen in europe and in my car there is a mechanical clock, but you all seem to have the computer thing instead, so is the mechanical clock only on eurospec cars?

Yes, the OBC came standard in the US.

A lot more options in Europe, since the cars came without any of the "standard" features we have here in N.A.

Your car looks pretty clean like everyone else has told you it is not eurospec but who cares it looks pretty clean and you should have a lot of fun with it. Good luck *th-up*
