My Epic speeding ticket Video -9kph from 'racing' lol

-
so yeah i debated posting this... but here it is..
cops on max take me with a grain of salt..

I am going to lose 2 points? off my licence for ^that, cause its 'unsafe'!?

thats the punishment for the 'unsafe' aspect, on top of the money..

yet the officer that clocked me didn't feel too unsafe about running out across 3 lanes of traffic
to stand in the path of my speeding oncoming car to tell me to HALT!

commen sense would suggest that the police 'halt hand' is not endowed with special
'stopping of fast moving metal objects' powers.. <-part to be taken with salt
anyway's as u can see i had no problem 'stopping safely'

so how 'unsafe' is it really if they're running in front of the cars??

Plus look at that road man 3lanes each way (no sidewalks, so no pedestrains),
some parts of the trans canada hi-way are only 1 lane each way!!
limit is way to low there
& they sit there all month (and other parts of that road)
and collect mad mad mad cash.

I drove the oposite way 30mins later they had like 5 people stopped.
and yeah It is my fault Cause i'm stupid & should've known better then to speed.. there.
just hadn't been by that way at '12noon' (or lunchtime) in a while..

well at least the cop was polite and didn't rape me.. by reducing the fine..
mind u i was 9kph from my car being seized..and she didn't even mention or warn about that..!??
probably cause she hopes to nail me on that next time?! min fine is $2K but up to $10K @t 50kph over

I kinda have to laugh at the absurdity of it all. *shiner*

Nice vid.. how much did the in car camera run you? and where is your passenger side wiper?

mirek 11-09-2007 02:43 PM

What's your complaint? She was pretty far away from you, gave you plenty of time to slow down and stop.

lol, you should have made some smartass comment about her Elton John shades.

p.s. where'd she get $325 for 41 over? it's $287

hadesm5 11-09-2007 03:39 PM

i dont understand why they reduce it."you were going 105 but i reduced it to 85"? why do they always do that, to make u feel that u got lucky?

x2. agree.

It’s exactly what I predicted. Standard police procedure.

IMHO, I don’t know if that tape will do any good in court.

BimmerboyPH 11-09-2007 08:31 PM

I would have run, she wasnt in a car buddy u could have got away no probs!

INFAMOU$ 11-09-2007 08:38 PM

I think his point was that being pretty close to 50 over that they didn't even say anything in regards to the new law and how he should be more careful... had he have been 50 over then she wouldn't have knocked the ticket down any.. Also being 41 over and "knocking it down" isn't enforcing the laws we currently have.. Due Process which we are now robbed of if 50 over.. He should have been charged the full 41 over and had his day in court.. That will prove to be more of a lesson than a 25 over charge that he knows he got away with and could possibly have it knocked down even more.. Our legal system is a joke..

Jim .E. 11-09-2007 09:21 PM

agreed the system is very sketchy these days. sometimes there strict, sometimes there not. my buddy got a 105 in a 70 zone which wasnt reduced. we took it to court wednesday, got bumped down to 85 in a 70, $60 slap on the wrist called it a day.

Should have kept going lol
