which Rubber size on e30????
Hey guys, i have 16" ROH 5 star rims but thinking of 45mm height rather than 50mm so do i go 205 or 215 ??? please note- i plan to lower the car with apex (yellow) lowering springs...... and i want no rubbering or fender rolling issues.....

thanks for any suggestions or your opinions....

205/50/16 and 225/45/16 is spot on. 215/45 and 205/45 are both undersized, although 215/45 is barely noticeable. What is the offset and size on the wheels you have?

Also, FYI, the "45" is an aspect ratio, not a direct sidewall height (aka, it's 45% of 205, not 45mm) so the sidewall height is actually 92.25 mm.

Mike, the offset no idea, size is 7JJx16...

I've decided on the size 205/50/16 is brand.....from a pricing stand choices are: General Exclaim UhP, Kumho ecsta spt ..... what do u guys think...also looking at Dunlop sp Sport 9000 and they are offering rebates........

The Exclaim UHP is a damn good tire, as well as the SPT. For daily driving, I think the SPT is one of the best choices today.

I'm not a fan of either of those Dunlops, they're not showing good test results at all.

Dunlops are bad tires. If you don't like grip, then they are a good choice.

I dunno man, there's still not a brand out there that I can say doesn't make at least one great tire.

The Dunlop SP 5000 is a great all-season, better all around than the Falken ZE-512 (although a lot ore expensive).

Well, the Dunlop runflats on my Dad's 5 suck, the dunlop FM901's that I have on the rear of my car suck. And they are expensive.

I've decided on kumho escta SPT....from $73ea. us...
