Hi Everyone!

Some people have already heard I'm starting on an LS1/T-56 project (E30).

It's an '88 325is. She's getting stripped down for paint and body work to make it right. I figure I'm going to put the call in today to seam weld as well when it's all apart.

I need to decide on a color - was thinking black or white (leaning more towards white).

ALSO, I need to see MTECH II vs stock 325is vs... ??? I am getting the current MTECH II knockoff kit cut off the car as it is really really crappy and very poorly installed.

PLEASE post pics of some sick looking E30's, stock/pulled/stretched/slammed/MTECH etc... I need ideas! :)

Thanks! :)

Where are you getting the work done? Or are you doing it yourself?

Well, I'm at this stage, I am letting Bimmersport contract out the body/paint work unless someone can give me a reference to a shop capable of stripping the car down, making the body 105% MINT, and re-assembling the car perfectly with plastics front and back.

If bimmersport has a person who is a good welder, I will ask to have the entire body seam welded as well unless it will be too costly.

Thanks for the link E30Kid!

Sorry... missed that.

Still Bimmersport. I've secured an engine (2002 Z/06 LS6) and I'm looking for a camaro T-56. I called Bimmersport today and Moe will be calling me back on Monday to go over some details. Engine will probably see my boys over at Rev'n'High in Pickering before being dropped in.

I dunno how an M Tech II can be much more different. Mostly they just have different colours and wheels. At least thats how I see an M Tech II e30. But I guess I could dig thru my folders and find a couple. Heres a bomb silver one with OZ rims

Here is Slyders e30 from R3V. I don't believe its a real TechII but it looks nice. Custom widebody too!

i am a weldier how much you looking at to have the chasis seem welded.
I just finished seem welding the chasis on my friends Nissan 240SX Drift car
and I'm just waiting on his dad to bend up the roll cage.

and I can also make roll cages fairly cheap aswell

But back on track, If you want your chassis seem welded just pm with a
price if your intersted and I'm pretty sure we can work out something

Couldn't find a shop that had enough free time to complete my project before the end of the season :(

My search is now for an E36 and isn't working out too well. Shop contact recommended I wait another couple of weeks because more E36's will be on the market by then. If the car I get needs paint, I'll want it seam welded first. Will keep you in mind if shop doesn't have any recommendations.

AS A SIDE NOTE - has anyone ever contacted Vorshlag? I've tried to email them and got no responses. I'm going to try calling today or tomorrow.
