i call BLING BLING

of either, id have to pick the passenger side. to be honest, im not a huge fan, but whatever you like.

the kidneys are seriously drooping - is that just because you have no clips on it?

how did you do it, though? chrome tape?

Not really feeling it, a little too much bling for me also. Mines all blacked out (grille and kidneys) nice and stealthy heheh....

im not into the bling. but if i had to choose id got with the passenger side............has anyone ever used black electrical tape to black out the chrome trim around the door? i heard it works very well and looks very good as long as theres no kinks (obviously)

There is a fine line between classy and cheap chrome, that "look" leans towards the ladder.
You could remake the grills out of metal and dip them in chrome, but the "look" will always be cheap/un-tastefull/tacky.

But looks are subjective, if you like it thats all that matters. :huh?:

Why not add some chrome fender flares to complete the look?

EDIT: Chrome Tape ≠ "Quality"

who has money to do that..

if you see it in person youd have a hard time telling besides the fact you would know it didnt come with it.

and most to all chrome on cars from the 70s to now is aluminum on grills not "real Chrome"

I think your missing the point i was trying to make.

It doesn't matter if it was real chrome plated metal or chrome tape.

The look of chrome like that does not look nice to me. It leans more towards the cheap/tacky/un-tasteful side. (Althou not completely there, but its close, i've seen worst)

But as long as you like it thats all that matters.
Looks are subjective, depending on your tastes, if you like it iqnore others that don't.

I still don't like the whole chrome thing period but this is moar acceptable.

Not a fan. Personally I think the chrome grills messes up the clean look of the dark front.

That's why smoked headlights looks so much better because it's consistant throughout.

Damn, I am late for the party. What the hell is with that chrome?? Looks like Crappy Tire aisle 9 meets E30. That doesn't flow at all with the car. There isn't that much chrome on the E30 to begin with.

Well if you feel that way why bother messing with the grill? Personally I'm not a fan, I like the stock look. But hey to each their own, different strokes for different folks. Since you asked, the passenger side is more bearable. All though for me it's like choosing between ugly and fugly.

I love my cheap 80's car.
