Need info on buying an bmw

im looking into buying a e30 bmw...ive come across a few here on maxforums and the trader... but what i want to know is what are the top 5-10 things that i should look for when buying a bmw...for example: common rust spots,common problems, any tips are appreciated..

im new to BMW's and I had a few Vw's and Acura's in the past...
