Nuh nuh no! When I said e-to-i swap, I didn't mean engine swap. I meant head swap!

Actually, you don't even need to do the head. Just get a 325i cam and valve springs and have a machine shop drill the extra 3 holes for the oil journals. You should be set after that!

I'm working on finding someone that can burn some chips to optimize and eta engine for the i cam. I'm going to see if he can raise the redline to about 6000 RPM, too. : -)

Let me know if you're interested.

hmmmmmmmmmmm not bad i would be very interested in a chip like that, how much would that cost???

I really don't know. This guy has done a chip for the stock eta, and he was originally going to send me one to try, but I guess the deal fell through. All of the e34 M5 guys with his chip love it, so he must be a pretty good chip tuner.

Anyway, I don't know how much it would cost. Jim C and Dinan are about $250, so I'm going to see if we can keep it at about that. I'm sure it depends on how many people will originally agree to it.

I'm wanting to go with the M30 AFM and a 3 bar FPR at the same time, so maybe he can do a chip optimized for that, too. We'll see.

thanx jeremy you have a very very nice car a lot of work done. BTW: how do you drive so low.

And no i wont be painting the brackets i left them black, cause everybody has the entire mirror painted the same color, so i wanted to try something different

Here are 2 short video's of my car 15 seconds each
