you know you're selling this for about half of what its worth, right?

Just the phone retails for 2400$, and used phones (without minutes) sell for about 1000$ on ebay.
(and since airtime is about 2$ a min, this package is worth 3500$)

I know but I got a new one so I don't need this one anymore. I told a few people I'm selling it for $1500 and here I set the price at $1000 (firm BTW), max discount :)

Question - why would you need one? (I mean you personally, I know that if you are in some crazy jungle or something it would be good, but here, we have cell coverage pretty much everywhere...)

If you're looking to buy one and think you might need it chances are you will. I used it in Asia, South America and once is Africa - in all of those cases cell phones has absolutely no reception no matter what phone you had.

SOLD..but I feel bad for the new owner :D

A guy bought it for his wife who probably has the worst cell phone reception, no matter where she is. Well, I'd say she's messing around and often when her husband calls she doesn't want to pick up and then tells him she didn't get the call, so he bought the phone for her and said that now she won't be able to use that excuse :)

I driven to northern Ontario to go camping, about 4-5 hours away from Toronto, I got zero reception, if someone got injured this phone would have been very useful.
