Windshield Crack Q

Hi everone,

A buddy of mine has an 06 318. A rock smacked his windshield on the HWY and made a 3-4" crack. Does BMW cover this under there warranty? (replacement)? If not, can this be fixed to not spread or does the windshield have to be replaced under the drivers expense?

I doubt BMW will cover this.

As far as I know, a 3" crack can't be repaired. Looks likee he's going to need a new windshield :(

Sorry it's a 325, I knew it was one of the lower end models.

Now a days they can fill the crack with a quick drying solution, they did on my moms X5 so i dont see it being a problem to fix, ask around im shure it can be fixed.
