I am in need of some good quality H1 bulbs, I'm sick of the Canadian Tire Silverstars... shitty light, and short life...

Where do you guys get yours?

+3 with HID prices dropping throught he floor, Halogens are just a waste of money. Especially all the $100 "performance" bulbs...

for high beams, I still use hallogens. I tend to flash people a lot (to signal them in, etc..) So having HID's isn't the best idea for that.

If you don't go HID route, go PIAA route. Performance Improvements sells PIAA h1's for 100 bucks, and they come with a 1 year warranty.

If you guys are looking for PIAA headlight bulbs, we still have a few pairs in stock.

I just sold a pair of H7's today. $66.95.

Let me know: karim@corner73.com or http://www.corner73.com/parts_request.php

I'd get HIDs but the problem is I also have to get the fix for the daytime running lights  , it's impossible for me to turn off my low beams so hid's would be on all the time. Right now I actually pulled the low beam relay and just running angel eyes + fog lights.

DRL's run off the high beam bulbs.

there's nothign wrong with running HID's all the time. Porsches do it.

^^many, many. many of my customers leave their HID's on all the time. My fog HID's are always on cause they look cool.

Your HID bulbs wont actually burn out faster from leaving them on, 70% of the wear on bulbs is starting the arc (turning them on), once they're on, they're very efficient and dont wear quickly.

Very interesting, I did not know that.
