Seen it on CL for awhile. I think its a 4Dr. Until I see better pics I can't really say if it worth that price or not. Probably not.

That kind of money for an e30 is insane, M3 or not.

You have to realize that the e30 M3's are becoming collectables (if already not) and that price would be reasonable for an M3 but for a 325 dont think so.

That kind of money is completely justifiable for an M3, condition dependant. In the right condition they are easily worth even more than that.

E30's TO THE RIGHT person are worth good money, not to most. E30 M3's are collectibles TO THE RIGHT PEOPLE who are willing to pay that kind of money.
To me, they are not, they are nice cars, there are some clean examples of both(Regular and M3) but I would never spend that kind of cash on one.

Its all personal opinion, I have about that much in getting my RR and getting it to where it is, so far, but that doesn't mean everyone would feel its worth it.

Zimmie, I am the general public when it comes to e30's to me they have depreciated a lot, so I may not be the right person to ask, because what I would pay for your car is not anywhere even close to what you are asking. This is NOT to say that your car is not worth it to the right person.

An item is only worth what someone will pay for it and its worth it to them.

I mean there is a guy restoring an 84 318 in the e30 section. To me that's nuts.

Then again, I'd spend upwards of 50 K for something like this. '93 D90 110.

I'd also spend larger cash on a M5 *drool*

That's me - thanks *wave*
Everything and anything is worth paying for it if you really want it - people pay up to $10000 for Apple I. The main thing is to enjoy yourself doing what you like doing.

Also please remember that e30 was a very popular car across Europe and it was not an expensive car. As to becoming collectible, In Europe E21 is more desirable than e30.

Asking anyone who willingly owns a 17 year old Range Rover for their opinion on the value of a car isn't going to get logical thoughts.

I could say the same about a 17 year old BMW/VW/Benz, etc.
ITs all a personal choice. I could say that you are crazy for trying to preserve an e30 over an e36 M3.

But yes, willingly owning a RR is a little masochistic. I am strange like that, and don't regret it.

You don't need to defend your ideals and feelings. You enjoy your project and it is worth it to you.
That's all that matters, just like I enjoy my project a million times more than I ever did my e30. Its just the old saying "Different strokes, for different folks."
I am actually follwoing your thread as I think it's neat.

You have a Self-defeating Personality Disorder?

Sometimes when you look up a word in a dictionary, you may get only one of the many uses for the word.
Here I will help you out.

From dictionary.com

"gratification gained from pain, deprivation, degradation, etc., inflicted or imposed on oneself, either as a result of one's own actions or the actions of others, esp. the tendency to seek this form of gratification
